ADVANCED PATHOGEN DETECTION

Pathogen  Detection, our PCR-based assays are designed to detect a variety of known causative pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, and fastidious organisms with high sensitivity plus resistance gene detection. This allows for a comprehensive assessment of infections, ensuring prompt and accurate diagnoses, and reducing the risk of misdiagnosis or delayed therapy.

Advanced Pathogen Detection Testing

Pathogen Detection

  Testing Benefits

· Simultaneously identifies 39 Bacterial and Fungal Pathogens from a single swab.

· Ability to report polymicrobial treatment guidance using our proprietary antimicrobial susceptibility methods.

· Results provided within a 24-28 hour window – both identification and susceptibility.

· Supports better patient outcomes and satisfaction.

· Our labratory partner utilizes the most advanced pathogen detection methods — changing the gold standard in wound cultures.

· Traditional culture may take up to 6 weeks to report fungal pathogens while our Lab Solutions Wound Panel can detect fungus immediately.

· Our wound testing methods allow identification of pathogens and sensitivity much faster than traditional microbiology, allowing the physician to begin early treatment with the correct antibiotic.

Heal your Wound with the Help of Technology

XBIO Technology takes an innovative approach to solving the problem of bacterial biofilms. The unique, non-toxic technology attacks and deconstructs the structure of the biofilm by removing the metal ions that hold the EPS together. This exposes the bacteria within the biofilm, making them more vulnerable to eradication. Bacteria that are enveloped within the XBIO Technology are then destroyed by the combination of a surfactant and high osmotic imbalance across the bacterial cell wall. XBIO Technology’s broad spectrum efficacy helps defend from biofilm reformation, reducing the rate of reoccurrence by over 100X.11Due to this unique mechanism of action there is no known resistance to XBIO Technology.
